Join the musical celebration and release of Fumbling, the new album from Danielle Ate the Sandwich. Join us on Saturday, March 29th at Greenwood Social Hall to hear new songs performed live with special guest musicians, photo ops, and free giveaways! You’re invited to feel it all, to laugh, cry, sing, and revel in the elegance of our fumbling. Doors open at 6pm and music starts at 7pm.

Fumbling, by Danielle Ate the Sandwich, is the artist’s 8th full length album, with lyrically driven tunes touching multiple genres. The new album features songs about loss, acceptance, leaving an old life, and finding a new home in Kansas City. Recorded and produced in Kansas City, KS, by Fritz Hutchison and Alison Hawkins, the project involves local musicians and artists to showcase the deep well of Kansas City;s artistic talent, and introduces Danielle Ate the Sandwich as a member of the musical community. Fumbling is the recipient of an Inspiration Grant from ArtsKC, and the first single, “It’s Not Jupiter,” won Best Song By a Local Band from the Pitch KC’s Best of 2024. Combining soft, lilting vocals with poignant honesty and wit, Danielle Ate the Sandwich (Danielle Anderson), writes songs for the biggest and smallest moments of life. A songwriter, ukulele and guitar player, and performer, Danielle first found her place at open mic nights and coffee shops in Fort Collins, Colorado, and is now based in Kansas City, MO. Growing a fan base through her homemade videos on YouTube, Danielle has performed and toured extensively since 2009, opening for Mumford and Sons, Jake Shimabukuro, and had the opportunity to write the soundtrack to the Emmy nominated HBO documentary, “Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson.” Danielle is currently a 2nd year studio residency at the Charlotte Street Foundation in Kansas City, MO. www.danielleatethesandwich.com
