TRIO LAWRENCE live at Greenwood Social Hall

Trio Lawrence is a musical super-group powered by members of the University of Kansas faculty: Boris Vayner (viola), Daniel Velasco (flute), Erin Wood (harp). Hailing from around the globe, they met in Lawrence and have been performing together for over six years. Their first performance was at the Lawrence Public Library as part of the inaugural Kansas Public Radio Live Day. Their debut album recording will be released this summer and includes music that they performed at American Viola Society Festival in Los Angeles. Upcoming projects include new music commissions and a performance tour in Ecuador.
This recital includes an eclectic mix of music from around the world with works by Ravel, Angulo, Piazzola, Stölzel and Jolivet.
