Award-winning Iowa duo Weary Ramblers bring their genre-defying blend of Americana, folk, bluegrass, and blues to Greenwood Social Hall. Featuring Chad Elliott on guitar and harmonica and Kathryn Severing Fox on fiddle and mandolin, the duo combines masterful musicianship, original songwriting, and captivating storytelling. As Iowa Public Radio says, “Weary Ramblers are nothing short of an Iowa-based super duo.”
Their self-titled 2024 debut topped the Contemporary Folk Album chart for seven weeks and featured singer-songwriter Pieta Brown. Their 2025 album, Driftwood, reached No. 1 on both the Contemporary Folk and Folk Album charts, featuring bluegrass legend Sam Bush on mandolin.
In 2026, Weary Ramblers won the International Acoustic Music Awards’ overall grand prize and the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge Best Solo/Duo award, with Elliott also named Best Guitarist.
Beyond the accolades, their performances weave together heartfelt original songs, road stories, personal reflections, and genuine humor. Join us for an evening of adventurous music and exceptional storytelling.
